Photo Session $175

Fun and relaxed, the aim is to capture natural interactions. We love the candid shots and make sure we get good posed pictures as well. Our goal is to capture the feelings and the closeness between you.  We oftentimes take these photos at your home.

Outdoor locations provide great backdrops and we’ll meet you at whatever location you choose. We have some great ideas for location photo sessions that are beautiful and even dog-friendly.

Maternity photo session $175

Maternity sessions capture a very meaningful time in a mother’s life. We focus on celebrating your beautifully changing belly.

These sessions are usually scheduled between 32 and 36 weeks when your baby bump is showing but you’re still pretty comfortable. We recommend you consider wearing something special such as robes, gowns, dresses or other delicate pieces. We also recommend professional hair and makeup for this photo session, and we can recommend a few of our favorite professionals.

The session lasts about an hour and we encourage both parents and siblings to join in the fun.

Newborn photo session $175
The perfect time to capture a newborn baby between the first couple of days and no further out than the twelfth day. This is the magic time for those sleepy, dreamy baby images and they are easy to pose.

The session can take 1.5 to 3 hours depending on a few things such as eating and changing outfits or just the need to comfort the infant.

Your session date is based on your estimated due date but we gladly adjust the schedule to your baby’s arrival.

Plan on using items you want to include in the session such as props, outfits, headbands, hats, booties, blankets, etc. We always bring along additional items that can be used in addition to your own selection.

Baby session $175
New parents today seem to enjoy having their baby’s progress captured in three-month increments because babies go through such amazing changes in their first year.

We’d love to capture your baby’s milestones such as grabbing toes, sitting unassisted, standing and learning to walk. Better head control and grabbing toes usually happens between 4 and .6 months and sitting unassisted can happen between 6 and 8 months. Standing and walking can happen anywhere from 8 months to 1 year or so.

A must have is the one-year cake smash celebration! This session looks great with a simple backdrop, a cute outfit, and a small cake and a few balloons.

Baby sessions are special, simple and completely natural. We do have a choice of a few outfits, blankets and toys if you’d like.

Additional family members can join in the baby sessions at no additional cost.

We offer several packages for you to choose from including large canvas prints, photo albums, framed art, wall art, and gift items. Please call for our professional product list to allow you to plan what package is best for you and your family. We give you digital versions of the images you purchase in any of the packages.

After we go through all of the images taken during the photoshoot, we show you the essential images you can choose from and we discuss any further editing or cropping, sizing, framing, matting, and mounting ideas. We narrow down your choices to ensure you see the best and get the best.

We guarantee we use the best vendors for your prints, wall art, canvases, albums, etc. We look at every item as an heirloom piece for your family to cherish forever, so we ensure top-quality archival papers and products to last generations. We view every image as a piece of artwork and focus on every detail, with an emphasis on top-notch retouching which we do not outsource. This is done only by us here at A Different Photo.

We offer packages as well as a la carte items. Of course, our packages offer better pricing of individual items if purchased together during the Reveal Session.
